In Your Orbit (2024)

Cosmic Connections

"You're living in the big city on Mars, but you've just been evicted from your apartment. Spend the next 2 weeks figuring out your living situation in a place where living alone is not affordable in the slightest. As you do, you find yourself making connections with a lot of very different people."

This game was made in collaboration with a team: Nhi Tran, Ann Lohmueller, Linh Bui, Karina Komarova, Karen Almeida Mendonca, Jaelynn Mitchell, Gabriella Parrilla Infanzon, Sheldy Ruehl, Evan Torner and Valerie West.

My work for In Your Orbit

My work for In Your Orbit includes background art, asset art, scriptwriting, script editing and world-building/character creation.

I drew all of the backgrounds shown on the right in Procreate and Clip Studio Paint as well as the character sprites shown below.

I did writing for my own characters' interactions and their storyline as well as editing dialogue for other character arcs.

Through interacting with Mikhail and Achiti in game you can experience their whole story of growing up in a turbulent environment. These themes are mirrored through the world-building of Jupiter.

17,000+ words of character dialogue for Mikhail and Achiti.

I wrote 56 pages of script for Mikhail and Achiti with the help of the main scriptwriter, Nhi Tran.

Spirit Signal (2025)

"You wake up in an abandoned facility, unsure of what is going on. You must go from room to room and complete puzzles in order to uncover the truth of what has happened to lead to this point. Explore a world haunted by its relationship between technology and nature."

Spirit Signal is a 3/4 view pixel art puzzle game made in GameMaker.

This game was made in collaboration with a team: Ann Lohmueller, Charlotte Bodie and Madison Opitz. Background music by Evan Torner.

My work for Spirit Signal

My role in the development of Spirit Signal includes lead scriptwriter, sprite artist, cutscene artist, and level design/puzzle designer.

On the right are illustrations done for the cutscenes in the game. They are done in detailed pixel art to match the rest of the game.

Below is the level design/layout I created as well as examples of the 3/4 view pixel art gameplay.

Level design layout maps the flow of the narrative and how the player will encounter pivotal pieces. Each room is laid out in a floorplan and includes where the pieces of the puzzles will be located.

Potion Commotion (2025)

"Potion Commotion is a single player game where you play as a witch, brewing and serving potions during your shift at a busy potion café. The player has 7 minutes to get as many orders done as possible without messing up. They must look at the order which will appear at the top of the screen, then reference the recipe book for how to make the ordered potion correctly. After viewing the recipe, they must gather various ingredients then cut, boil and combine in a bottle to prepare potions before dropping the potion off at the drive-thru window. At the end of the time limit- if the player got all orders correct and delivered them on time they will get the good ending!"

This game was made in collaboration with a team: Qilin Liu, Ann Lohmueller and Taylor Cooper

Will be published soon on itch.io

My work for Potion Commotion

My role in the development of Potion Commotion includes being the game artist- illustrating the main menu, endings and instruction pop-up.

On the right are illustrations done for the endings and instructions.

Alien Dream (in development, 2024)

"When you die, your soul manifests as a tiny animal in a vast landscape. The only path forward is to wander and encounter the awaiting horrors. Why are you here? Because someone won’t let you go that easy. You’d better start putting the pieces together because you still have a story to complete!"

This game will be a precursor/companion content to a main story I have been working on in comic form. This story is tailored to be an interactive and immersive version of a typical comic storyline.

This game will feature UI design and game design that resembles comic pages, frames and bubbles.
